Join the private tour to Giethoorn or Little Venice: about 1,5 hours drive from Amsterdam you can find this village named Giethoorn. It’s hidden and surrounded by lakes where we claimed the peat. Small islands with gorgeous houses only to be reached by boat. This is why they call Giethoorn Little Venice or the Venice of the north. On our way to get there you can see the area’s of Dutch reclaimed land used for different types of agriculture. Most part of the Netherlands is below sea level and full of dams and dykes.
On arrival we will have lunch and a 1 hour boat trip. Don’t forget to take your camera. It’s all so pictoresque and it will give you a good impression of the Dutch landscape.
